Melania Trump’s Book Top Charts as It Becomes Bestseller

Melania Trump’s new memoir Melania has become the number-one bestselling book on Amazon through preorders.
The former first lady’s story is set to be released on October 8 and promises to tell of her “Slovenian childhood, the pivotal moments that led her to the world of high fashion in Europe and New York and the serendipitous meeting with Donald Trump.”
It also offers “behind-the-scenes stories from her time in the White House, shedding light on her advocacy work and the causes close to her heart.”
Melania Trump promoted the book in an interview with Fox News that aired on Thursday, her first interview in two years, when she revealed what she thought about Kamala Harris, saying “The record speaks for itself.”
“The country is suffering. People are not able to buy usual necessities for their families. The economy is really not great—inflation is high.
“We have wars going on around the world, soldiers are dying. They were dying under this administration because of weak leadership. The border is open and dangerous. A lot of fentanyl is coming over and killing our youth.”
Melania Trump went on to tell interviewer Ainsley Earhardt that her husband’s 2016 administration achieved “peace through strength” and allowed people to prosper.
She described Donald Trump as a “family man” who had “kindness and positivity.”
The former first lady also discussed how she found out about the shooting against her husband during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, and a second apparent assassination attempt at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on September 15.
Melania Trump had paused the live coverage of her husband’s Butler rally before the shots were fired before she “ran to the TV.”
“But when I saw it, no one really knew [the details] yet, because when you see him on the floor you don’t know what really happened,” she said.
Melania Trump said she heard about the golf course incident while in New York. “I saw it on the television, and as soon as I saw it… I called again, and he was OK,” she said, praising Secret Service agents involved and calling both survivals miracles.
“I think something was watching over him,” she said. “It’s almost like the country really needs him.”
The former first lady has kept a relatively low profile during this election campaign so far, in comparison to her presence during his 2016 and 2020 campaigns.
She appeared at the Republican National Convention on July 18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but did not give a speech, and wrote a letter asking for compassion for her husband after the July 13 assassination attempt.
